Castle XVIIIth c. in Charente

Achievement : 2014

The castle is located on the remains of a 12 th century fortress on the road to Angoulême.
These first foundations were destroyed in the 16 century to achieve a castle after the Re- naissance style.
An Orangery was created at that time. In the 1790’s, the building was described roofless.
The property was fired in 1941 and only foundations were spared The building has been transformed through out 3 centuries.
